Welcome to Executive LeTip of West Los Angeles. We are the largest LeTip networking group in the United States and Canada. We come to our meetings for business, and leave with good friends. Why not take a look at our group’s current news and events and check back often. We update this page every week. Contact us. Let's see how you can benefit, too.
Martin Horwitz – Business and General Law Attorney. Martin shared his busy and interesting week so far, which started off with a client receiving a $4.7 million award and included getting a restraining order against an ex-husband who thought his ex-wife was being used by Martin’s client as a sex slave. Martin believes it is cheaper to do it right than to fix it, so see him first to review your legal matters.
Cathe Caraway-Howard – Employment Attorney. Cathe stressed how important it is to keep good business records and ensure that company policies and procedures for hiring and firing are carried out properly. Employees must be trained and know what is expected of them. She represents both management and employees in employment matters. A good tip for her is a business being sued or an employee not being treated properly.
Barry Moser - Accountant. Barry spoke about planning for retirement and discussed the choices we have in which to save, such as having an IRA or a defined benefit plan. He pointed out that you can start collecting social security as early as age 62 and can invest the money but should remember that it is taxable. He has a full service tax firm and can help you plan for your future.
Adamm Gritlefeld – Adamm’s Stained Glass and Gallery. Our new Vice President reminded us to show respect during meetings by not speaking when another member has the floor. He then introduced us to his new committee chairs. Adamm’s gallery specializes in art glass and creates stained and leaded glass, beveled glass and etched and carved glass windows, doors and skylights.
